Seen netbooks at staples,futureshop etc for awhile now. Yesterday i asked the salesperson to try it and ended up buying one. Works great for me cause i just surf,facebook, and a bit of youtube. Not bad for 230.00.

so light isnt it ..since it's only 10 inches? I shouldnt have ever baught a laptop since i dont play games

I had one and I returned it because I couldn't stand how slow it was -- it took almost an hour to install XP Service Pack 3. Mine had an Intel Atom N270 processor in it though. Maybe the new ones are better.

down in the states, you can get one on the cheap IF you goes thru AT&T, Verizon, etc with a 2 year contact for website service (they start at $19.99 with a 2 yr contact). Consider you can find free wi-fi, I won't go the contact route just to save some $$$.

I had to get used to typing on the little keyboard, but, I love how it fits into my purse! It's great for someone on the go
