Even if it gets to court, and you are also found guilty, i doubt one is looking at jail time if they are a first time offender.
The sentence is irrelevant; if convicted, the charge(s) will remain on your record.

Maybe what someone said that they are only after the girls and not the customers is true.
Don't be so sure of that; if the police need assistance/testimony, they will nab found-ins.

your GF's panties
Or need to look for a new job.
Unless you enjoy going to the USA.....
One more guilty verdict on my record won't change my status in either regard, i reckon.

Even if it did, i have no need of either a job or going south. Haven't been there or tried
to in decades, although i expect they'd let this citizen with a US passport in. Had no
problem getting pages added to it recently inspite of my prison history. And much less
hassle than getting a Canadian passport, even though i'm born here and have lived
here all my life, excluding three 6 month stays + 2 months in LOS.

Short answer: dont' assume you'll be let off with only a slap on the wrist, even if you cooperate with police; once charged - you're charged.
The law is a load of crap. Now, say if I brought my gf an LV bag, she got turned on and have sex with me the same evening. Would I be engage in soliciting prostitution?

Then in vancouver you would see alot of John/Whore pairs because many girls out there (many asians) go for guys with fancy cars and buy them expensive bags.

I just cant see any relevence in your post with regards to what the OP asked.....and furthermore...how...in the wide fucking world of sports can you compare giving your GF a fancy purse VS paying a micro gal for sex?.....it is apples & oranges....to compare those is like trying to compare the artistic creations of Leonardo DaVinci and Robert Bailey LOL

Oh Yeah.... if you have to pony up a fancy brand name purse to your GF everytime you want sex or something similar.....there is no point in having sex with her....because you BALLS are in that purse LMFAO.

You are missing the point here. I am not saying getting the gf fancy gift = to paying hooker for sex. I am stating that in a relationship where there is an absence of sincere love for one another, then it is no different than an a john/sp relationship.

@the Meat Market!!!lol
while i am sure we all agree that this is true.... it doesn't matter in the eyes of the law.

the ontario charter challenge decision is to come down this week. by the end of september. whatever the outcome- if they strike the bawdy house laws and agree with our side or they up hold them for the feminazi's- it will be appealed. we have been lobbying for support for our labour review board, bylaw revisions, professional accreditation plans etc with great success and other cities are on board now as well.

i am sorry to say that it can't seem to come fast enough(lol) and we seem to be loosing parlour after parlour.... i wish i were well funded and able to work on this more but we are doing the best with what we have.

if anyone is in a situation where they are arrested or detained for being found in a common bawdy house and need some advice/some one to talk to, please don't hestitate to call. it can be a very frightening experience and i will help in anyway i can. it's hard to do much outiside of van but i can at least try to point people in the right direction. this invitation is extended to hobbyists, business owners and workers alike.

laid723- i know you mean well and while i am not that offended by the term hooker, it is considered polite to refer to workers as sp's.
