I go to them frequently and wondering what would happen if the cops kick in the door while im with a one of those girls. Heard a bunch of them where closed down recently with illegal workers. Would i get a fine from LE or be locked up?

Geez...do you fret about ripping the tags of a mattress as well LOL....dont worry about it....if LE is there to bust a micro they are not worried about you...they are there to shut down the micro....if it comes down you getting hauled down to the cop shop and being given the good cop/bad cop routine (highly doubtfull) then you STFU after you have requested a lawyer...the only person that can burn your ass is yourself.....any gals in a micro sweep wont offer you up.

I used to think of such things a while back....and now my reaction to the door being kicked in at my fave micro would be "do you fuckin mind....I am on the clock here....get the fuck out and let me be!!!"

There's the problem, the way LAG dresses sometimes it can be hard to tell him from one of the girls. It'd be like Cheech Moran in, Born in East L.A.

Far as I know there is actually a charge called being "found in a Common Bawdy House." I think it's still on the books. Any lawyers out there, correct me if I'm wrong. Judges, crown attorneys, you can chime in as well!;)

BTW congrats on your 3000th post LAG!

@the Meat Market!!!lol
yes, you could be charged with being found in a common bawdy house and/or sent to the "john school" diversion program. i believe many times men are let off with no charges if they cooperate with police.

IOW, a slap on the hand. And how could they prove you weren't just getting a massage?
That's why i'd go there. And postpayment, of course ;

Having a criminal record is a big deal, if you don't have a job you plan on being at until you retire...

Everywhere I applied in the past, they conducted a criminal record check and a credit check.

"With a search warrant they are allowed to enter the place named on it without your permission. They can arrest everyone who works in the bawdy-house or is found there when they arrive (including clients). They can also take anything they think shows that the place is a bawdy-house (appointment books, lube, sex toys, massage oil, etc.). This type of evidence, however, is not as important as what the cops say happened when they pretended to be dates. The things they take are only icing on the cake. So if these things make your work safer or easier, you probably shouldn't worry about keeping them around."

"...Being found, without lawful
excuse, in a common bawdy-house
Section 210 (2)(b)

"Anyone living or working in a bawdy-house is considered to be an inmate. Anybody else discovered there can be charged with being 'found in a common bawdy-house.' This charge is a summary offence usually laid against clients. It could also be laid against someone like a receptionist or a maid (although they could be charged with being an inmate instead)."

It seems one can get a criminal record for a summary conviction offence in Canada,
even though the following url denies it.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090429153849AAYje62

"A summary offense in Canada is considered a criminal act, although of a less serious nature than an indictable offense. As a criminal conviction, it remains on your record for life. There is one exception: a Canadian pardon may be granted after 3 years."

http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/2010312

"Summary conviction offences

"Summary conviction offences encompass the most minor offences in the Criminal Code. Examples are "communicate for the purpose of obtaining the sexual services of a prostitute," "cause disturbance," and "harassing telephone calls."

"Unless a different penalty is specified, summary conviction offences are punishable by a fine of up to $5,000 or six months' jail or both.

"You cannot be fingerprinted for a summary conviction offence. Also if you are convicted of a summary conviction offence as an adult, you are eligible for a pardon three years from the time you complete your sentence (e.g., payment of fine or restitution, completion of probation). Following conviction of an indictable offence, you must wait five years before pardon eligibility."

http://www.defencelaw.com/classification.html

"The Waterloo, Ontario Police site says a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record check includes:

" "Summary Conviction Offence (Searched November 17, 2005 to the “Date Completed” on the Records Check)
A summary conviction criminal offence, quite simply is an offence that is deemed to be a minor or lesser offence in nature. Some examples of common summary conviction offences include causing a disturbance in public, failing to pay a cab fare, soliciting the services of a prostitute, or taking a car for a “joy ride” without the owner’s consent. Summary conviction offences carry a lesser punishment than indictable offences, such as a fine not exceeding $2000.00. These are the types of offences that will not be included in a records check if they occurred prior to November 17, 2005." "

Short answer: dont' assume you'll be let off with only a slap on the wrist, even if you cooperate with police; once charged - you're charged.

I think it depends on what you consider a light or heavy punishment. It's all relative.
You can compare it to a jay walking warning and it sounds heavy. Compare it to
drunk driving and it might appear light.

Susi spoke of three possibilities: 1. they let you go, 2. john school, 3. being charged
with a summary offense. Worst case scenario is number 3, probably. Even if it gets
to court, and you are also found guilty, i doubt one is looking at jail time if they are
a first time offender.

Maybe hire the guy advertising for transportation and security of SP's to watch for LE
and PM you if he sees them coming. Then you'll have time to get dressed and sneak
out the back door.

I was in one that got busted once. The lights in the room started flashing off and on. I guess that was a warning signal for the girls, 'cause the girl I was with jumped up, jabbering something in her native tongue while she quickly got dressed, then ran out of the room. (I checked the sheets wondering if something had come out of the wrong end of me, but no such thing had occurred.)

Quickly as possible, I followed her lead and got into my clothes. As I walked out the door, three cops were coming down the hallway in my direction. I waved a friendly hello and walked the other direction to where, luckily, there was a back door. It was out the door and around the block for me. They never came after me or said a thing to me. Maybe what someone said that they are only after the girls and not the customers is true. Or maybe I was really lucky that day. I don't know which it was, but thank God it never happened again!
