This is an unusual first time posting, but I wanted to get the word out there to all the Perberts and Perbettes.
My Lady Friend Cat AKA Mama Cat, passed away eight weeks ago. We were together for 15 years off and on, and she was the first lady who ever confessed her love for me. I am just starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and that is why I am able to write to you today.
As you may have guessed, she was a Sex Trade Worker on the DTES, and if you ever cruised that area you may have seen her or even picked her up, and if you are a SP, you may have been friends with her. Before I met her she used to work on Davie with an infamous Trans SP. Thanks to my efforts I was able to ease her into retirement, and she appreciated that.
The reason I am writing this, is because she was attacked on the street in January, and the attacker is now serving 3 years in jail. Although the attack did not directly lead to her death, she was in fragile health before the attack, and the attack did not help, needles to say.
It was very brave of her to come forward to the Police, and the Police and the Crown attorney were very kind and at the trial, they showed up en masse to lend their support, ever since the Pictkon debacle the Police have done a 360 degree change in their attitude and I appreciate it.
So, I am asking all the Perberts to be kind to all the ladies out there, whether it be your Wife Girlfriend, Sister, Or just an SP that you see on the Street corner because you don't know what you got until it's gone.
