Can anyone recommend a good place for laser hair removal?

Prefer a place on the North Shore...but Vancouver, Burnaby or East Van is fine.

Just no places downtown please.

Looking for a place that isn't a rip off, professional, and service actually works.

I'm not the hairy type, but I seriously can't stand any body hair...

I know that you don't want downtown but I am going through Urban Body Laser with the 2 year guarantee plan. I am getting my legs, braz, arms and underarms for roughly $10k but it is guaranteed where as most places you just pay per session with no guarantee.

They will have a tough time getting $10 out of him, let alone 10k :p

I am the biggest fan of laser hair removal EVER! I have had it done just about everywhere on my body and it has made my skin sooooooo soft and smooth. It doesn't work on everyone though; the best candidates are those with very pale skin and very dark hair (finally for once in my life, looking like Wednesday Addams is paying off)

I went to the Laser Clinic at Lougheed Mall just beside the IHOP, but only did 4 sessions there. I was doing my back and it was $400 a treatment. Some issues were that I had a different person each time, which got frustrating because one lady would be nice and willing to do my shoulders down to a certain point, but another girl wouldn't. Despite that hiccup, the treatment did work as my hair is much more thinned out than it was, but I just can't afford all those treatments, not to mention it killed like a motherfucker. An hour of torture and no happy ending! :p

I would consider downtown if I was you, I have seen better rates in the newspapers. Try the Georgia Straight when you get a chance.
