The other thread about the girl wanting to come back and not being able to afford a License got me thinking and I remember Micha and Ashley once posted that it was cheaper (or just a little more?) for the two of them to get a agency license than for the two of them to be individually licensed and working. How much does a Massage parlor or individual SP License even cost? I don't imagine it can be much, but my personal consideration of whats a lot of money is kind of skewed. What is it like 10k a year?

For a girl to work at a MP, the cost of a license is almost $200. Not sure what an escort license is for a girl working for an agency. But it was a little cheaper then the MP license. At least this is the way it was a couple years ago.
For someone to buy a MP license, I am not sure what the cost is. But I do know that it costs $5400 for an escort agency license.
The last I heard, an independent escort license is $1900.

I may be wrong on some of these totals, but if I am, I know I am not off by much.

if they have a minimum 250 hours of massage training the license requires a criminal record check for about $30 and the city of edmonton massage practitioner license is $76. The same licensing required for therapeutic massage therapists.

$180.00 due once a year along with a less than 30 day old criminal record check which costs $70.00. SP at MP.

Fess up jim, you were looking to make a few bucks on the side.................................:)
Busted.

I do provide the FULL BFE however. In addition I will feed and massage my client and I also have no concept of time so I'm always going over the normal 2 hour limit. :p

Kendra ...it appears you get along much better with 'the agency' that provides security clearances than I do. HA. Everyone does now that I think about it. I paid $70 for mine and you pay $30?
Me thinks you have $40 more in your piggy bank than I have in my piggy bank!!!

I just renewed mine today. An MP worker license in just shy of $200 per annum, and an EPS clearance is $30. That is all that is required. An MP studio license is just shy of $80 per annum (also requiring the $30 clearance).

hmmmm I am guessing because of the difference in price for the security check, may depend on where you got yours from.
I only paid $30 for mine as well. But I went to Ft Sask to get mine.
