I was asking for places I could go too (unless I can join you on your friend's couch!).I'll probably catch it from my friend's couch but if I'm stuck, Rogers has just announced ...

GO PORTUGAL GO!![]()
Any specific place on the Drive?gonna watch it on The Drive–
nice to talk to diehard football fans and the atmosphere is great!
I don't have a particular team I'm rooting for, I'm just a fan of what they
call The Beautiful Game. enjoy the WC.
That's how I'll be watching most games both at home and at work.cbc.ca online hd! Haha!
No need to pay! Haha! Just don't overshoot your usage. That's how I'll be watching most games both at home and at work.
Otherwise, I'll be popping out for lunchtime weekday games to the Yaletown Brew Pub. Always a decent sports bar.
Go Germany!
Considering it's how I watched the entire Olympics, I don't think I will have an issue with over-usageNo need to pay! Haha! Just don't overshoot your usage.
Consider CTVOlympics.ca uses Silverlight over the unstable Adobe Flash Player, I hope CBC will change it to Silverlight.Considering it's how I watched the entire Olympics, I don't think I will have an issue with over-usage![]()
ps...CTVOlympics.ca had the best darn online HD streaming experience. Full HD, PVR ability, I can't wait until CBC gets there. They are getting close and online usage stats are increasing, so hopefully they start adding new features.
Reminds me, I better get home so I can watch the game tonight![]()
You are rich man! One month to SA. Can you buy me an air ticket too, please?..................South Africa of course. Where the hell else would you go?
Do they show 7 AM games? The hours are pure hell on this World Cup, the games will be early morning. The Ship and Anchor has morning games so I might wander down.
Word I have is that the Ship and Anchor (17th Ave and 5th Street) in Calgary is going to show the early games and possibly serve drinks. I don't know if it's true but I heard them talking about it on the radio. The Ship did show the games in 2002 that were early morning. With WC a week away, maybe give them a call or hit up their website.
Thank you Amie for the list. Portugal may yet become pie in the sky with the injury to Nani and Ronaldo being distracted by your beauty.
The hours for this World Cup are awkward because they are early in the morning. I think I will crash over at my friend's place the night before. I love morning cuddles . This is a good opportunity to host a sexy sleep over (^_~)
ps. No I'm not Portuguese; and although I love their bifanas and chicken, my fascination with Portuguese meat has nothing to do with Cristiano Ronaldo (^_~)
GO PORTUGAL GO!
Vancouver Magazine's article lists where to you can catch the World Cup

Thanks! Yes, I know Brazil and Spain are favoured but Portugal isn't completely pie in the sky. I love a good upset!
