BSG wasn't relevent to YOU perhaps, but it most certainly was relevant...and also one of the best written shows to ever appear on TV...Sopranos was disappointing because it wasn't what I wanted. As time went by, I realized it was actually very well done.
As for your other 2 selections, I wouldn't give either the time of day. Lost became irrelevant long ago and Battle Star Galactica never was. Kinda like comparing Braveheart (Classic) and A Night at the Roxbury.
It was a very satisfying finale for me emotionally but not so much intelllectually. I made peace with the fact that not all the sci-fi elements of the show will have answers much like in real life. Unlike the Sopranos finale which for me basically lets the viewer finish the story whichever way they saw fit. If you felt like Tony was going to get whacked, then he got whacked. If you want him to live happily ever after, then that's what happened. It's basically like reading a book that ends with ...Lost was pretty damm boring yesterday. What happened?
Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. The best series finale ever was for the Newhart show where he woke up in bed with Suzanne Plechette and had dreamed the whole owning the Vermont Inn thing.
That one was good, but..The best series finale ever was for the Newhart show where he woke up in bed with Suzanne Plechette and had dreamed the whole owning the Vermont Inn thing.
Classic. The best series finale ever was for the Newhart show where he woke up in bed with Suzanne Plechette and had dreamed the whole owning the Vermont Inn thing.
Damn it! I thought they are gonna kill him. What a way to make a possible movie!I like how they left the door open for Jack Bauer to come back.
