Since you can't search "RMT" and SPs come and go all the time anyway...I'd like some current input as to who the best masseuse is in the city. Ideally she'd be gorgeous with big boobs...but for now I'll take the real massage and some sort of happy ending....though I care far more about the massage than the ending.

Who has the best actual massage out there?

Thank you.

Hey Zing1

You need to call Mika at Elite Retreat, she gives a great massage and she will finish it with a happy ending, I dont know the cost thats between you and her. I've had them from her and she knows what shes doing.

I agree with ShyMike, Mika gives a great massage. She hasn't got the biggest boobs but she is a gorgeous girl with a great attitude!

As for you Alyson, you don't worry about massaging anyone right now. Good luck to you and your baby!!!:)

Tammy or Raven at 99 Street. Both are in their late 30's, early 40's, blonde, with enhanced breasts. Either one will give you an amazing massage.

I Am a CMT (certified massage therapist) basically took the course but didn't pay the $500 for the year to be registered... so basically I can't do "Insurance" stuff.... But I give a great massage! Ask Anyone!
You definitely have your massage fans as per many fans posting their agreement.

HOWEVER,

The difference btw a CMT and a RMT isn't simply $500. A CMT certifies you have completed the course of study. The RMT has undergone a certain number of hours post CMT, written and passed examinations and is Registered with the provincial body that regulates Theraputic massage. Then you can do "Insurance Stuff".

coming from an actual registered massage therapist working in the province of AB, Alysons information is wrong. There are no provinicial standards for a massage therapist. To get the City of Edmonton massage practitioner license one only requires 250 hours of training. Without the training one can only be licensed as a holistic practitioner. I have the credentials from a 2200 hour program- the longest available in Edmonton. The reference to 3000 hours is in BC. And I think you are wrong on the once a week spa treatment. I was a member of National Health Practioners of Canada for 9 months before I got the position I currently have working in a physoitherapists office. And yes, you'r position as an SP would get your membership revoked as soon as it was discovered.

Hmmm

Hey guys,

leave jim alone. He's always "FOR SURE" about what he posts, it's just that sometimes he's wrong. I don't know enough (or actually care enough to research) about this topic to say he's wrong.

I couldn't see the part where it says 'hey you got you CMT? pay us $500 and you can be registered'.

What do the designations "LMT" and "CMT" mean?

An LMT is a Licensed Massage Therapist, meaning that the therapist has obtained a Practitioner's License from the city or municipality that they are located within. To operate a business of Massage Therapy may require additional licensing in some areas of Alberta.

A CMT is a Certified Massage Therapist, suggesting that the indivual has completed a massage therapy training program and has been issued a certificate of completion from their training institution.

Go see Vivian at Body & Soul in the west end. You can find her ads on CL. She is tough to get in to see, but she will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Without a doubt the best massage I have ever had.
