Nope it's gonna be original six match up...

Detroit vs Chicago
Boston vs Montreal

Chicago vs Boston Final

Boston takes it all... Unless Canada's Team Montreal can keep it going...

Not me....

...bc I already knew this was a crappy playoff team, I mean it 110%! good during the regular season but as long as u hv chicken shit Europeans on this team, not willing to block shots, do whatever it takes to win, not willing to get their faces dirty in front of the net; where was all this crease crashing hype all day they were pounding their chest?

And finally I say this for the millionth time, luongo is NOT a playoff pressure goalie nthis was the 2nd most important game of his life, & couldn't stop the 1st goal just 20seconds into the game. And the Toews hat trick goal? I don't frigging care it's a 5 on 3, Louie was on his knees before the puck went top corner?

What was he doing, getting ready to suck Gillis' good cock for signing him for next 10 years!???!

Gotta agree on Luongo.... Canada won the gold medal in spite of Luongo.

Canucks will never win a Cup with him, he makes Cloutier look like Martin Brodeur...

Did it ever occur to Canuck Nation that reason they're down 3 games to 1 is that the Hawks are simply a better team?
Their style of play just won't work against the grittier teams in the playoffs.
Not to put the blame squarely on Luongo, the team as a whole is in a fragile mental state.
The Toews goal was a complete fluke, but the Canucks couldn't get over it and the let the game get away from them.

Compare the two teams. Forwards - even. Goalie - even. It should be the Canucks with the edge here, but clearly that's not the case.
Then you see the big glaring deficiency. Defense. Big advantage to the Hawks. Pointman can't get any shots through.
When you have Bieksa getting outplayed by Alberts, you've got a serious problem. Boy do they ever miss Willie Mitchell.

Anyway, it was a nice tease this season, boys, but better luck next year.

Microbu, almost agree with you--no doubt Chicago is a way better team, regular season and playoff, hands down. Of course Mitchell would help. Having said that, do u or other Canuckleheads, honestly think a concussion prone dman can move a 260lb power forward? Our defence was overrated to begin with. That regular season was just a tease. Guysike Erhoff & Salo & Bieksa doesn't exactly send shivers down my spine--and neither does the Hawks.

Look at Seabrooke & Keith--they move the puck up the ice so easily & smoothly.

And back to my favourite cocksucker, Luongo. How dare you think 'we're even' in goal. I'd rather have that Chicago goalie bc at least he's consistent and a heckuva lot cheaper so we couldve gotten other players to help this team big time!!! This isn't the same Luongo when he first arrived here; he's been downhill since.

I say even in goal because Niemi has not been seriously tested in goal.
At least half the 'Nucks shots are blocked. The remainder are mostly cleared away or too weak to do any damage.
I blame the poor D for the majority of goals. But yes, Luongo could be miles better.

Luongo's been inconsistent all year. I guess we were all just schmucks for thinking he could turn it around in a few weeks time.
He seems to play better in tight games or if he gets a ton of shots. When the opposite happens he either gets rusty or bored.
It's used to be he'd have 10 good games and then 1 stinker. Now he has 1 good game, 1 average game, and 2 lousy games.
Rinse & repeat.

Dude, IIHF rules are different. It's mainly about skills and strategies. You don't see them playing that rough like the NHL. As in NHL, anything goes like a barbarian sports!

The Canucks lost this game because they were stupid and played like caveman barbarians,
especially when it came to Bufferin, Anacin, Asprin, or whatever his name is. Is that how
their coach told them to play? Crosscheck the guy to the ice and then keep cross checking
him, in the back, in the face, after he is on his knees? It seems our coach has to take
some blame for that horrible lack of discipline. With the way their PK has sucked and how
potent the Hawks PP is, one has to wonder how our team can have their heads so far up
their asses. If you want to win, be disciplined, take the slashes and punches w/o responding
so that only the other team gets stupid penalties, and win the f'ing game! Geez, how difficult
is this to get?

Of course it wasn't all Louies fault but definitely 50% blame. As a 'supposingly' high end goalie he's got to make the big saves in those situations ie 1st minute of each period. 2 goals scored that way!!! Sure Kesler screwed up on that shoot in. Think he may be hurt.

But where's our vaunted secondary scoring? Are the canuckleheads convinced that Bernier & Demitra sucks? Is Raymond soft in the playoffs? Burrows, 2 goals including that empty netter? I had been harping all season long that this wasn't a cup contender it's a frigging joke!!!

I predicted Hawks in 6 because the Canucks did nothing in the off-season to upgrade their size and grit. Who's they're biggest/grittest player? Burrows has turned back to ECHL player he used to be. Where'd he go? Kelser? Raymond? Anyone on the first and third lines scare you? Not me.

Some upgrade in skill but that's regular season skill not playoff skill. Same thing next year as there is no grit in the farm team either. Hogdeson or Schroder (spelt them wrong I know)? Don't see them mucking in the corners and in front of the net.

I'd love to see an orginal 6 final. Chicago vs Boston with Chicago winning in 5 or 6.

That will leave Toronto with the longest non-Stanley Cup drought.

In the past I would have complained that the nucks were having to play 2 teams the Kings & the Referees!

But this debacle last night was purely the Nucks own stupid play that allowed them to give every opportunity to Chicago!
