Whats with all this negative talk. The last time I looked, it took 4 games to win a series. So many quitters around here. Keep this up and Mr. Useless , bjh will be in his glory.

Some might consider your wake a reason to party :p

I was merely implying, people should lighten up and not treat hockey like it's life or death.

If you only knew.:D:p Ditto on the hockey.

It wouldn't matter who we had here in Vancouver. This town is the dead zone for goalies, it's a fucking black hole here, why because people/ fans don't understand the position. They see a red light go on and automatically it's the goalies fault.. Is it a demading position yes, does everybody play it no..
Not like those knowledgeable fans in Tennessee, Florida or North Carolina, who REALLY know their hockey. We're just West Coast Canadian Yokels who don't understand why the highest paid goalie in the league, (and probably the world) never leads in any goalie categories, has never won anything in the league he makes his living and blames his teammates for every goal shouldn't be held to the highest level of accountability.

Are you denying he's inconsistent?

He has always relied on his huge upper body to cover most of the net and goes down too early. If shooters wait him out he's easy to go around.

It is not easy to win the Cup, but he does get paid to make the timely saves to keep them in the game.

Thar wount be ainy cuppa stanley in Vancouver evar me boyos.... That takes hard work and this is the bane of the Canucks since day one.
I'm not saying they aren't skill players, but it beats the hell out of me why the Sedins have been signed to long-term contracts (past) and how they've remained on the roster for 10 years now, and counting. Players don't change overnight; they either have the mentality and grit to compete in the playoffs or don't, and the Sedins have displayed little of both (regular seasons aside). When will ownership/management see that?

H. Sedin's scoring title was an achievement, but right now, it means little.

That's what people used to say about Steve Yzerman.

Well, however or whenever, he turned his game around.

Get off your high horse... we might not all be analysts but understanding the game is not rocket science.

For some reason he thinks he's the only one in this forum who understands the game cause he played a tiny bit of junior or pro and did some coaching.

Well, however or whenever, he turned his game around.

So, BadgerJohn - what was it we didn't understand about Luongo's play in game four?

Again the same old excuses. In hockey you lose as a team. To put the blame on Luongo is being ignorant.
Hansen had TWO breakaways. Hands of rock. What has Kesler and Burrows done? These are supposed to be your playoff performers.
Instead they're getting schooled by Mason Raymond.
Why the D-man can't come up with the rebounds is beyond me.

I blame Game #3 loss on Vigneault. He clearly underestimated how much the referees would allow in the crease.
You can see on a couple of the goals the Canucks are standing around as if waiting for the ref to blow the whistle or raise his hand.
After the second goal, they should have realized that wasn't going to happen.
Vigneault was also unable to get his team to focus.

Of course Luongo has to take the heat ... thats why he is the highest paid player on the team and being the Captain (I don't understand why the f**k he was named the captain in the first place). How can a goalie let in 12 goals in the last 2 HOME games especially during the playoffs. At least Halak in Montreal would bounce back right after a loss.

Yes, the Canucks defencemen are crappy ... but the goalie is the line of defence, and he is not showing any signs of improvement at all. As Captain, he should be yelling at O'Brien for taking dumb penalties right in front of him.
