anyone have any recommendations for a decent working and priced word processor (under $100)?

my 30 days on Word just expired and I don't want to pay what MS wants to keep going ... tried Wordperfect and they load waaaaay too much extraneous junk along with it ...

note pad is just too bare bones.

don't do or need graphics, powerpoint, spreadsheet etc ...

if one were to accidently download a prog called azureus and do a little research on bit torrent one could accidently learn some wondrous new things....accidently of course

downloaded openoffice ... works fine so far ...

don't want the 480mb office 2003 that will expire again ...

i just want a simple typetypetype word processor that won't kill my bank account ... open office is good ... may try the other one (abi?) as well..

thanks all for the recommendations!
