It's time for me to leave PERB.

To the many thoughtful men I've enjoyed getting to know through this board -- not to mention the half-dozen gifted women I've had the pleasure to meet as a result of these dalliances -- I offer my gratitude and best wishes.

Yet again, another melodramatic bye-bye. Other times it is a cry for help, a plea for attention, a petition for some weird kind of salvation.

The purpose this time, apparently, to illustrate one's superiority as exemplified by the petulent final word: "Adieu".

I liken termination of one's Perb handle as somewhat like a suicide. The suicidals I respect the most are the ones who go and do the job without fanfare; they're the ones with nothing left to prove.
