why is cl board going down so often now are in a sweep mode

really i may sound all sketchy here but ive read of sanfran and seattle doing a sweep of cl. i am only concerned by my lack of knowledge of the functioning of the site, and my ability to do the proper research any info on this would be helpful thanks

Check system status on the front page. I doubt it is a sweep as you call it. There have been several MAJOR power outages, and that affected not only the CL system but others as well. Do a search on yahoo or google, you should be able to find the article I am talking about, "365 Main"

Pretty simple...their offsite data storage and server centre went down last week. They are probably still trying to get everything up and running again.

Some other sites were taken out as well. SFMike was probably the perp, considering it all went down in San Francisco
