Where can I find information about...

the small icons which appear in the columns to the left of the thread titles?

They are quite small but appear to be red, green or blue left-pointing arrows. I am sure they have a meaning but I have not been successful in finding anything about this. I read the FAQ's, but did not seem to find the answer.

The reason that I am curious is because 2 of the recent threads I started (re: viagra, and Jenny@ Connie's) each have 2 of these while many other threads have none at all. I am still quite new to this board, but I am trying to learn and comply with the protocol here.

Anyone willing to help out a new member.

No, I did not. And, in return, I will offer one word: SFREDBOOK

The reason I have problems here is because I go back and forth between this site and PERB. Totally different setups. Too much for my old brain to keep up with.

SFREDBOOK is the bible for the Bay area, San Jose to Sacramento. Extremely comprehensive, large area with a huge population and many different types of outlets: MP's, Amp's, Tamp's, AAMP's, Indies, you name it.

It is a partial free site, partial pay. A good diversion I would recommend to anyone who will be headed in this way. You can join for one month only for 12.95, if you are planning a visit. The best money you will ever spend. (USD, of course)

It amounts to a combination of WE, GS, B/S, STD, Province. Sorry if I forgot somebody there.

But, it is the reviews that will get you. Nothing like the one here. It is very formatted, with lots of space for description also.
