What's your plan for Canada Day ?

Avoid the crowds. I hate packs of people. I'll find a quiet spot outside of the City and watch the stars come out.
There's a colony of ants near my house that have been very busy building their underground mansion in the side walk. Sometimes I like to sit and watch them and their world go round. I put objects in the way of their path and see how long it takes for them to figure out that they need to go around them. Interesting little creatures.
I'd much rather hang out with them than enter the zoo of downtown on canada day evening. I'll be long gone and out of the area before any mayhem starts.

Probably working on a major job application, that could be critical as to whether I stay here in Vancouver or not.
Just a question are you planning to be on schedule on canada day or the day after ? :eyebrows:
Me....not much. Might head to Lougheed mall and look around. Or, just walk New Westminster Quay and maybe read a bit at one of the outdoor tables. Or.....head down to Commercial Dr and grab a coffee.
the great thing about the recent heatwave is that
the beautiful ladies in our city wear lighter and revealing outfits
thus showing a bit more skin. have a weakness for asians in summer dress. yum!

being in the states and our 4th is on a Saturday and the 3rd is the federal holiday, we are doing hot dogs at work on the 1st!

I was going to be picking up my hay bales off the pastures on Canada Day.....Now I want to head into Vancouver and go help Lady Via kill a bottle of wine, while we watch some ants on the sidewalk.
