What's with all of C-B's restrictions?

When I booked I got an email asking for:

Real first and last name:
Listed home number:
Listed work number:
D/O/B:

That in itself is a bit excessive. What if you don't have a listed phone number (does being unlisted turn your money counterfeit)? And who in their right mind is going to give out their work phone number?! There was even a post here a little while ago asking "who uses their real name while pooning?" Why do they care about your real name?

Anyway, I got through that and now I notice this on their website:

PLEASE NOTE THAT A PICTURE I.D WILL BE REQUIRED AT THE APPOINTMENT FOR YOUR FIRST TIME

Holy shit! Do you want my S.I.N. number for tax purposes too? I mean jesus, I just want to have some fun, I'm not applying for a job here.

Anyone else find this WAAAAAAY too restrictive?

I think I'm going to cancel my appointment...

In a business where discretion is at the forefront, asking for this kind of info is just plain stupid.
They don't need any of that shit. Anyone that thinks they do need that shit should be in some other business.
You did the right thing by cancelling. If everyone followed your lead, perhaps they'd realize the retardedness of their ways.

That info is still not required

The info you are requesting is unnecessary??????? It is a shame that your business had a misfortunate incident however requesting that amount of personal info in a discreet hobby is crazy in my opinion.

give them a phone number

say your self employed so no work number (or its the same)

everything else just give fake information, just use a persons name you don't like and his information

A canadian asshole (who also traveled there)who screwed me out of $50,000,so when I was living in brazil and when I pooned, I used his name, I even got business cards made up in his name to hand out to all the ladies I didn't want more than a nights encounter

he was a famous guy there LOL

if that doesn't work, screw them and their business, the market will decide if they can get away with this

This is likely how some Canadian Escort businesses will go if girls and companies keep working without licences. The fines are HUGE if caught, and jail time and a long term criminal record if justice has anything to say about it. Alberta is cracking down on UN-licenced ladies and agencies.

While it's inconvient for you Gentleman that like to play in this hobby, it is the safety of the girl and the company they are trying to protect.

So your choices are simple.

1 - see ladies who you know
2 - give personal information out
3 - offer to give references of established ladies you've seen.

Companies NEED to licence themselves !!!!!! Ladies need to LIcence themselves

There are 3 companies in the United States that does verification for the hobbiest and for the lady. These companies offer a safe way to see ladies without putting the Gentleman at risk. The ladies on their sites are also verified by the company they are on. I'm a member of Perferred 411, and without positive reviews I would not have been given a membership. The men are removed if the lady reports bad behavour.

I'm sure alot of you have noticed that when a Smart Lady travels to Caglary she asks for references, this is the reason.

I'm more than willing to give my real name, I always do anyway. I'm not hiding from anyone. I'm also willing to give you a phone number to call me at. But wanting the name of the business you work at, their phone number, a D.O.B. and a drivers license isWAY out of line.

And if this is to protect from the police, what's to keep a police officer from giving you all that information?

I agree completely...I used to be a big supporter of CB but I think I'll keep my business local now.

These new restrictions could explain why Pamela's reviews have not been so stellar on this most recent trip (check out the Calgary section).
