Whats the best way to get around keycard elevators

Or just meet at a restaurant. Let her know what you are wearing and sit in an easily locatable position. That way you can eat to keep up your strength for the upcoming activities anyway. 
In order to be discreet, I'd ask the gal to call you with her cell as she is approaching the hotel. That way you're not just hanging around in the lobby looking too out of place. If you have a general description, I'd also clarify what colour jacket or other clothing she'd have on so she's easy to spot. I'd also provide the same to her. That way it looks like two friends are meeting to catch up.
That only works if he's going to the same floor as you though. At least in keycarded hotels I've stayed in.The only time I was ever faced with the key card issue was when xginax was in town a few weeks ago. I made it to the hotel just as they had locked the elevators. Gina told me that she'll call me if I haven't arrived in 10 minutes (cuz she wasn't sure if I'd make it before they locked it) and then she'll come down and get me. In order to avoid having her go through all the trouble, I acted like a hotel guest and timed it so that I was at the bottom of the elevator at the same time as another dude who had a key. I just hopped on with him.

Several years ago, I was staying in a Montreal hotel on a floor that required key card access on the elevator. I had a 7 PM rendezvous with an escort. I assumed she would call me from the lobby and we would meet on a floor that didn't require key card access. I've done that many times in similar situations.
At 6:50 PM, I had just finished drying after my shower and wasn't yet dressed. There was a knock on my door. I threw my clothes on and answered the door. The escort was standing there! Not only was she ten minutes early; she had somehow made it to my floor. When I asked her how she did it, she replied that she told the front desk I was expecting her, and they gave her a key card that enabled her to access my floor, but not my room.
Montreal is far more relaxed about the sex trade than other North American cities, and I'm certain the front desk knew she was an escort. I doubt they would have provided a male visitor with that key.

Like I said that will work in some cases but not all. There are many hotels where the card will only get you to your floor.He got off on a different floor. There was no problem at all. It just kept going up and up and up after he left!!!!
Not so fast there bucky. Can't pull that stunt at the Coast Plaza. With the exception of the Main and Mezzanine floors, you need a key card to get out of the stairwell and onto the floor of your choice. I'm sure that there are others

And if the girl shows up looking classy and sits quietly waiting for the man to come downstairs in the elevator the front desk says nothing. This is why I invested in a classy laptop bag and a business outfit to disguise myself.
Have the girl call your cell phone about a block before the hotel and then hop into the elevator and by the time that she arrives to the lobby your elevator will arrive to the first floor!

uhm yeah....questionable about the 'business meeting'.All the hotels I've been in Edm it is possible to get to any floor you need to as long as someone else has put their key-card in, even if they have already pushed their floor. All you need to do is push the button for your floor right after. Unless they have changed recently.
As for the Coast Plaza, there are actually 3 floors where you can get onto without a card from the stairwell or at least there was the last time I was there.

After starting this thread a few days ago, I spent a fairly fun week going to incalls and tonight as I went down to pay my bill, I was going back up to my room to get my luggage and absentmindedly just pressed my floor (no keycard) and away I went! Damn unreliable elevators! No real lesson here but thanks for all of the great input. Actually I guess the lesson is to always double check the elevators do what you think they do...

At the end of the outcall she has to leave somehow...unless of course you tie all the bedsheets together and she crawls out of the window.
