'Tis the season to be smelly..fa la la de la!

I always associate Xmas gifts with perfume, and I was just perusing the flyer ads wherein sparkly bottles of toilet water grace at least three pages and right away I looked for my favs...the old timers...the tried and true...

Every year I try to sample a brave new product, but, I drift back to Chanel no. 19 (hard to find and no.22 is impossible to locate) and L'aire du temp, and there was one called Volupte which I cannot find anymore.

Cheap perfume (and wine) give me terrible reactions...but the expensive stuff doesn't.

Men's colognes have come a long, long way. Some are so nice I would wear them myself, and I used to buy a really expensive, but worth it, cologne for my ex...Cannot find it except in Eaton's which of course means...cannot find it at all!

I love L'aire du temps, it is a very familiar scent for me, also Fiji is a fave of mine.

I like to wear Preferred Stock mostly, but the other one I always keep is Stetson, mostly for after shave. :)

I don't really know perfumes all that well, and don't remember who wears what. All I know is some perfumes give me raging wood and some others make me nauseous.

As for colognes, I dab on some Gucci Envy For Men.

Im a fan of Issey Miyake, most of their scents arent over bearing
and have a lingering scent.

hugo boss - dark blue, is a nice one that is easily found
its more so the generic type of cologne but isnt as hard as CK

Don't wear cologne very often, but I have Hugo Boss Baldessarini (not sure about the spelling). The ladies like it.

Women's perfume?? No idea what's what.... I've been around some really nice fragrances though. Just never had the guts to compliment them.

I usually wear Eternity. Had a few compliments on this stuff, so it seems to be popular with some. Even had a guy (stranger) tell me I smelled good!

Try the Chanel store on Hastings. Definitely have No.19, not sure about the others though. Was there a couple days ago and sniffed away while the girlie shopped.

Favorite Scents.

I love Givenchy for myself.

For years, I've been into Amarige, which changed to Indecence (sex parfume, I swear), and then Organza, to Hot Couture (another spicy, sweet sex parfume.) Ysatis is another nice choice, but hasn't been my favorite.

Estee Lauder also has a nice line of different parfumes, IMO.

Scents are so particular. And frankly, I think we as humans mostly run on pheromones.

Ask your woman before buying scent. We are very particular as per what we wear.

I prefer Davidoff - Cool water...

But the ones I have used are:

Kenneth Cole Black for Men
Calvin Klein Eternity for Men
Karl Lagerfeld Lagerfeld for Men

I always use Addidas Sport though for after workouts and hockey... masks the smell of equipment after showering...well LOL ( and being a badger we tend to stink..lol)

Has anyone heard of Herrera? For Men? I think that's the name of the one I used to buy for the ex....tall black bottle...crisp and clean with very light lavender accents...

.....Perfumes that make men horny..

......In the renaissance period (somewhere around then...) women in France dabbed their own pussy juices on their skin and especially their hair. They probably aren't the only culture to do this...haven't tried it yet myself...supposed to attract men like crazy!:)
