What Is Screening?

I happened to see an ad for someone, who said she is screened daily for Covid.

Could it mean anything more than taking her temperature, waking up and noticing if she's coughing or sneezing?

I'm not sure the average person being screened means anything, except as a marketing ploy or offering a false sense of safety.

The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. If a person makes a claim, really any claim, and you do not understand what that claim means. What is the "shortest distance" to determine what that claim means? Ask the person making the claim or asking anyone/everyone that didn't make that claim what said claim means?

Nah appleomac, you're not supposed to contact someone unless you want to book. The OP just wants assurance that when an sp says they do screening for covid-19, it really is a ploy.

I see ads that say they installed special air vents, they wipe down the massage table in between clients. None of this matters if the client is asymptomatic.

You could have quarantined yourself for 14 days to make sure you don't have it, take a quick uber or cab to see her and she could have it and not know it and gotten it from a client who had it and didn't know it. It takes 5 days for symptoms to show. I doubt the sps or massage ladies still working take 5 days off in between seeing a day's worth of clients and there is no way in hell they are gonna see 1 guy and are waiting 14 days to see if they are sick or not.

this is why its easier just to abide by the shutdown rules and stay home. What's the point of the government shutting down businesses, restaurants and bars and everything non-essential if you're gonna go see sp's? Its the same as going to a friend's house or a gf's place for a visit. Social distancing and isolation is the best way to avoid community spread.

I cough and sneeze 365 days a year, not sick, its just how I am.
So nobody can judge someone who coughs and sneezes as having Covid-19 anyway.

Aso doesn't mean anyone would want to be near you while you're doing it.

Some meds for normal ailments (blood pressure, etc.) cause a dry cough as well.
