Kinda annoying when people say “I’ve been to....”, have no reviews, then ask for more info.

Exactly! So many dudes message me or reply to threads asking for information but don’t post any information that they have acquired. No response from me unless you also contribute.
I get PMs regularly asking for intel. If I don't know them first thing I do is look up their posting history to see if they ever give up for the group. Mostly nothing has ever been put on the table for public consumption. And usually the questions are easily answered with only a bare minimum of search effort, and the info is contained in the most recent relevant thread. Ignore.
Thats a solid list for anyone who's interested n this thread.
I ran into this constantly on a another board thats now closed. I find an ok amount of sharing here but it could always be better.
Some food for thought to those reading reviews. If you see a SP and she was good. Giving a good review can help bring more business to them and its another way of thanking them for the joyful moment. Also they may want to stay if business is good vs leaving to an other area or if its a visiting SP they may come back more. If it sucked or was a WOT/ROB you can help a fellow hobbyist avoid the SP by posting, pay it forward.
Yes, there are SP's who are DNR on the board, a few that ask never to review and some overly reviewed that if you cant book just read the reviews close your eyes and you can swear you've just done her :lol:. Or if you dont wanna write a long review, when folks post asking 411 give them some knowledge to help their choices along.
Many posters have helped me on here especially since I dont even live here I got less time when I touch down to bound around. I do frequent the area a bunch. Lets say for instance my trip is 1 day and I only got a 2 hour window to hobby this month, damn I better hit on the right SP. My windows are tight like a few SP's I know :biggrin1:. I hope my info can help others find the good and avoid the bad SP's.
