What’s the deal with AMP’s?

Wanted to ask in a non-judgemental space but so curious to know how AMP operate.

Looking online the advertisements range from cryptic to nearly outright discussing “room fees”, “extras”, “tips” etc. Even some of the locations would raise an eyebrow to drive past them at 11pm all neon clad and advertising to the heavens.

So how do they continue to operate I’m assuming legally(?), advertise their address and hours or operation, all while still winking and nodding towards more under-the-table services?

Mods, my apologies if this is the sort of post that isn’t allowed.

A standard question, answered often here, but I'll take a shot.

AMPs work under the guise of legit massage, licensed or not, and the ones with permanent physical locations tend to not advertise any grey area services.

Once in the room, one may discuss options, at the attendant's discretion. Most AMP attendants will allow you to leave happy, although there are some where even that is not an option.

Some attendants can be shy at first, and may open up a larger menu as you repeat. Again, not all, but many may.

Some will immediately offer menu options, from simple HJ, to topless, to nude, to nude reverse. Some will offer CBJ or BBBJ, and a few might even offer full service. But those menus offered represent what the attendant is comfortable with, so please do not boundary push. It may be exciting for you, but very uncomfortable for the attendant, and may negatively affect your visit. Take what they comfortably offer for best results.

If you are looking for more than a body rub and a tug, you may find info on sites like this, although most of the main AMPs are on the do not discuss lists, not wanting to attract attention.

There are many that openly list services, some that may even say "Not FS" which, to me, implies almost anything else. And some have shown recently to say "non FS" while employing attendants that definitely provide FS.

Room rates/tablefees are your base. At absolute minimum a 50% tip for anything beyond massage is standard. Rates go up from there, not often less than $100 for nude, maybe more if BJ is included. And on the odd occasion where FS is offered, it can be even more.

Not much of a difference over a FS escort, depending on the level of service you desire. A FS escort will generally have more of the facilities and skills to provide the full bang for your buck. But I get that some enjoy the excitement of getting services they are not supposed to get, in locations they are not supposed to get them in. I guess in those cases, and nice comfy bed and a shower are less important.

Well said rubintugger. For any of the AMPs that don not want to be on the do not discuss lists the info can always be shared privately between members....if they so wish to.

Awesome, thanks for that. I should’ve been more specific, I’m somewhat familiar with the process and workings of devices provided but more curious to know how they aren’t a massive magnet for LE given that their address, hours of operation and business is out in the open.

What makes you think they aren't?

They're limited in what they can do. They stop by and try to talk to the girls, but let's be honest, it's not in the girls best interest to cooperate. It's not as easy as scaring a methed out streetwalker.

Regardless of what the place looks like, the vast majority don't put what they do in writing. Some even have little notes on the room wall saying they don't allow prostitution. (lol) Most owners have multiple locations. None of these places are going to allow a sting to be set up. It would be business suicide. Even then, if you're on the table at a 'legitimate' establishment and they offer, you've got grounds for entrapment. If you ask first, you're stupid. A good mamasan runs blocker so nobody gets caught in the act.

Proof is hard to obtain when none of the people involved are willing to talk. That said, it's best to avoid shops that go out of their way to stand out.

That’s great clarification, thanks so much

As long as they do not use trafficked ladies, do not force any into doing things they are uncomfortable with, why would LE be involved?

If the parlour boss tells an attendant they have to have sex with clients, and the attendant does not want to, believe me, there could be police involved at the attendant's request. Likewise, if a client attempts to force sex on an attendant, the boss will be the first to call the cops, because that is sexual assault, and is having LE involved is not bad press at all for the parlour.

The attendants know, or learn quick, what they are comfortable with, and what they can get away with, and know that it is easy money in a safe space.

Stay within reasonable boundaries and neither client nor attendant is in danger.

That said, there are some AMPs that attract women with more open menus, and others that keep things pretty tame (with the occasional exception of a lady that gets more comfortable doing more, but likes where she is, and doesn't piss off the boss). When they start overtly advertising more than massage, they open themselves up for LE.

I don't know the pay structure in any AMP, whether they share tips with the house, or if they are paid a wage, or a % of the table fee, or a guaranteed minimum, or even for tips alone. Not sure how much actual reported income happens in these places, which could be an issue (like Capone).

There are some that move constantly, and you know there's some shady business happening. And there are others that have very long, stable histories.

Regardless, it is obviously enough to keep that business model working for the AMP and the attendants. There never seems to be a shortage of either.

I think any visits they make to the local licensed massage establishments, they only ask to see the girls ID. That's what I was told by one local owner.
