That's the problem when they are young and a spinner!

This comment is unnecessary and degrading, not only to her but all mature SPs in general. SP chose what services or restrictions to offer. You had seen and like her, I would expect a more appreciative and amicable response instead of a critique, particularly on the restriction that she had set since she started.
