Victoria
If you have a car, you can find:
1. Mount Douglas (you can drive up to the top).
2. Mill hill (hike about 1 hour up and 1 hour down for a inexperience hiker)
3. Mount Finlayson (hike 1.5 hour up and 1.5 down for inexperience hiker)

These give a great view of the area. Bring binoculars.

4. Dallas Drive (see map) Take Blanshard or Douglas (#17hwy) south; turn right on Bellville (drive past parliment buildings), and follow road around until it turns into Dallas (parking along dallas to see out to sea etc)

5. Tourist trap/place on government from pandora to the victoria harbour; it has street bars, restaruants and shops. Its a nice walk. This will eventually take you to Victoria inner harbour.
Other places look up on BC tourist sites see what interest you.

If you like historical things, there is Craigdarroch Castle just off Fort st. Also, if you have a car, there is Fort Rodd Hill near Colwood. The places 80watts & bridge suggested are great, too. Those places give you a good idea & experience of the city. While your here, have fun!

Some great suggestions here. I’ll add Abkhazi Garden and Government House for history with gardens and views-probably the best public ones on the west coast aside from pricey and out of the way Butchart Gardens(which is also nice.) Beacon Hill Park and the Ogden Point Breakwater can be nice too if you’re walking along Dallas road.
Also adding East Sooke Park and Gowland Todd Park (if you have wheels.)
Highly recommend Pagliaci’s and Don Mee’s and Steamship, the Local or Milestones for people watching if the patios are still open.
