So Im heading to Vegas Dec 9-12 and I need some good reccomendations on things to do! I havent been in about 8 years, so Im pretty stoked! Any advise and things to do would be appreciated....someone said I should go to Rhinos?? Anyone have any intel?

i stayed at the imperial palace - not the greatest hotel in vegas but the location is excellent run on the strip near all the big hotels - mirage, caesars, etc.

The price was excellent 45 US per night, i went during the week in February. Why spend huge money on a room when you are rarely in it
in Vegas - at least not sleeping in it !!

Lets face it-- you dont go to Vegas to hang out in your hotel room!! Make sure you book ahead-- I went down last March for a friends wedding in Lake Havasu ( 3 hours from Vegas), and made the mistake of thinking it would be easy to get a room-- lots of rooms available for 200$ per night and up!!

On another Vegas note-- I am getting ready to go again next year-- anyone know of any good independant SP's in Vegas who wont leave my bank account in shreds? I know its Vegas, but there has to be a more cost effective alternative than the ex porn stars with glitzy websites. !

Check out the Palamino Club while you are there. My girlfriend and I went in January and had a blast. Naked guys downstairs and naked girls up. And they serve alcohol We had a blast!!!!

terribles is just down the road from the Hard Rock. it is way off the strip, so use the shuttle at the Hard Rock to get around.

It is relativlity brand new, but owned by a gas station chain, so consider that as well.

I'm gonna stray from the "adult" entertainment realm for just a minute. I'm sure it will be covered well by others. Inside Bellagio there is an art gallery that is a must see. It seems Steve Wynn is a fine arts affectionado and he has amassed a fortune in it. He displays two rooms of the most incredible paintings for public viewing, and I don't mean behind glass in a display case. All of the great Impressionists (none of whose names I can spell) are represented, as well as Van Gogh, Rembrandt, etc. I was there with a lady a few years ago and she talked me into going (you can imagine what she used for bait). Thinking the trip was just a means to an end I agreed. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Being in the room with so many beautiful works was awe-inspiring. When you go in they provide you with a device that has a number pad on it. Each painting has a numerical designation and when you press the number of the painting you are viewing Mr. Wynn narrates a series if historic and eventual facts about the artist and the painting. It was facinating and I left there with a renewed appreciation for art.

Oh, and the tittie bars rock, too. HM

If you are going with a lady friend, I'd recommend seeing the show Zumanity ( http://www.zumanity.com/ ) at the New York New York Casino.

I was there last month with a GF and we went to the show and had a great time (spring for the duet seating if you really want to enjoy things).

Also, Rachel (http://profiles.yahoo.com/rachelofseattle) is a SP in Seattle that occassionally goes to Vegas. You might want to see if she is there while you are. Her rates are MUCH lower than the typical Vegas indy girl.
