Vanishing Reviews?

Reviews seem to be disappearing.

I wrote a review of Angelina that was a positive one and it vanished overnight. I then noticed some others including all Carmen Foxes reviews.

Someone posted in review section that girls control what gets posted on review area and if they don't want reviews posted then any posted gets disappeared.

This seems at odds with a review board. How are we supposed to know who we can and cannot review? Is there a list of girls that cannot be reviewed?

I know it is different but if Honda didn't want any cars reviewed by car magazines, do you think the magazines would listen if the magazine was there to provide a service to those trying to make an informed choice on car buying?

Bob_knob please try and stay civil and avoid shutting down yet another thread. :(

If you know it's different, why make the invalid comparison?

The difference, as you must know, is that people pay to read the car magazines. Perb more closely represents what you would have if Honda paid for the magazine and gave it away to people for free.

Not that I think vanishing threads are a good thing, but that's the way this board works. "We" don't own it, we don't pay for it, so we have no right to demand anything different.
Good points. Just seems misleading to anyone who thought this was a review board. It seems as content controlled by the SPs which then makes it hard to see point of the reviews. Nothing wrong with the forum discussions and advertising but sure makes the whole review portion of Pacific Escort Review Board seem rather meaningless.

Guess as long as we are all clear on that and no one looks to it for anything other than promotion and advertising.

Peculiar indeed...

What is peculiar is your obsession with this topic. Just because a few reviews about specific SPs or posters are either deleted or held in abeyance, doesn't invalidate PERB in general. There are hundreds of other posts, old and recent that are still in circulation here. What's your point yvrpooner? Or better still, what's your agenda in here? If you are not satisfied with your experience in PERB, then perhaps you are wasting your time, and should look elsewhere.

Requests for deletion can come from the poster who wrote it or the SP who was reviewed. Responding to the request is at the discretion of Fred Zed, Perbadmin or a Mod. They own or run the board and have complete control over its content, regardless of what you or anyone else has to say about it. It's just that simple.

Just my 0.02 cents...
