Recently there was a discussion regarding the posting of links in one's profile.
A non-advertiser should not be posting a link to their website in their profile, this is a form of advertising.
It does not matter if you are an SP, a photographer, a website builder or anything else, if you are not a paid advertiser, do not put an advertising link to your website in your profile. Links to non-business conducting sites are fine for anyone to post.
As this clarification is relatively new, people who are advertising inappropriately in their profile will be given until Monday July 17th to remove the link. If the link continues, then they will be given one warning allowing them another 24 hours to remove the link.
After that they will be banned for one week. Continued posting of the link will result in being banned for an extended period.
