There has been a flurry of unpaid advertising of late and I am getting tired of needing to police it so much. Below is a partial listing of what is and is not allowed.
A non-advertiser should not be posting a link to their website, nor a phone number, nor an address, rates, services or availability in their profile or in any postings. It does not matter if you are an SP, a photographer, a website builder or anything else,
Nor should a non-advertiser put a picture of themselves in their signature, in their posts, or use it as an avatar.
A non-advertising SP shall not make use of the basic profile or signature line. This feature is reserved for paid advertising SP's only. Any other member may make use of the profile or signature line within the rules.
A massage parlour who is a paid advertiser can advertise the parlour, or any of the girls. The girls who work for the parlour cannot advertise themselves unless they themselves are paid advertisers.
Unless you are a paid advertiser you are not allowed to use the visitor messages feature to advertise or book appointments.
A paid advertiser can advertise themselves pretty much anyway they want; but only themselves.
If you have sent money you cannot advertise until you are in red, or until Fred has confirmed receipt of your funds.
Paid advertisers, if your advertising lapses and you do not wish to continue advertising right away please remove all information from your profile and signature lines. And please remove all albums. These are features reserved for ladies that pay to advertise here. Contacting the Moderators right away will go a long way to ensuring that no misunderstandings with regard to advertising happen.
I am sure some of the more creative non-advertisers will find things that I missed; so as a general overlaying principle; if you are not a Paid Advertiser you cannot do anything, that in anyway could be construed to be advertising. If you even think it is, then it is and don't do it.
I have put this thread in the forums of the major cities, nobody will be able to say "I didn't know".
