Trip to China

OK guys & gals.. need some help from you perberts.

Heading to Mainland China Shanghai & Ningbo.

First and most importantly I speak and understand absolutely no chinese

Ok couple of questions.. and almost as important Where do I poon? Costs? What is the best way? What should I expect? Language barriers? How do I not get ripped off?

Secondly, how do cell phones work? I travel extensively through europe and you can purchase a pay & talk and all incoming calls are free. I have an unlocked sim card phone. Can I purchase the same sort of deal for the area I am travelling? Can it be purchased here in the lower mainland?

Any other tips or advise for a big white dude to have a good time on a business trip with a couple of free days?

Finding places/SP in China isn't hard. Look for English ads in local papers (mainly foot or body massage places). But if you don't speak the language, the odds are you won't be getting a good deal. A lot of in-house massage services in hotels offers extras, but again - with the language barrier, likely it won't be such a big deal. For FS, depending on how well you negotiate, can run you up 1000 RMB. If you are lucky, the hotel may have non-asians, but this will cost you extra. I was very tempted by a cute looking russian in my hotel once in China, but she wouldn't give FS and I knew I would be ripped off.
