Saffire...
Now I feel all bad...
Manipulate always seems to have such negative connotations.
From Merriam-Webster:

Main Entry: ma·nip·u·late

Function: transitive verb
Inflected Form(s): -lat·ed; -lat·ing
Etymology: back-formation from manipulation, from French, from
manipuler to handle an apparatus in chemistry, ultimately from Latin
manipulus
Date: 1831
1 : to treat or operate with the hands or by mechanical means
especially in a skillful manner
2 a : to manage or utilize skillfully.
Hands up all perberts out there who would agree that Saffire's reviews indicate a courtesan who "treats or operates in a skillful manner" and who utilizes her charms "skillfuly".
If your offended by that, I apologize...
