Hello Everybody,

Thought I'd give everybody a heads up before you make the same
mistake. A couple of wks. ago a gentleman from the states sent me
some emails expressing his interest in possibly meeting me. He said
he would call. He called a couple of times but I was unable to answer.
So a couple days ago I decided to call him back from my private,
unlisted landline phone. He was unavailable & I left a brief message.
I didn't leave a call back number since I knew he had my cell no. I used
a Telus prepaid phone card (my first time using them).

Later that evening I get a call from my landline & I see an unfamiliar
no. displayed on my caller ID. To my horror, it was the gentleman
that I tried to reach. I asked him how he got my private listing. He
told me my unlisted no. appeared on his caller ID.

He assured me he wasn't a creep.

Tonight I tried dialing *67 before dialing the access number on the
Telus calling card. My private no. still appears (I phoned my cell)
If you want to protect your privacy in this hobby, better not use Telus!
