Telephone Etiquette

As a rookie to this “hobby” I am seeking the advice of both hobbyist and SP’s. What is appropriate to discuss over the phone, and what should be left to face to face communication?

Obviously respect is of the utmost importance, however generally speaking we are dealing in a realm that is rather taboo and therefore I am curious where many of you draw the line.

Are the abbreviations found in this forum commonly used?

some sp's u can say just about antthing u want others not, my advice is to let them set the tone or frankness.
