Well... if it really kills you in a matter of days - it's paradoxically less of a problem because it won't get a chance to spread.
The problem with AIDS was that it incubated and you could infect dozens of people before you knew it.
But if you're going into septic shock - chances are even the biggest, most negligent dirtbag is not going to be barebacking anybody.
But it certainly is worth keeping an eye on!

I find it hard to believe a news site composed entirely of blog entries and opinion pieces which rewards views over fact checking. And worse yet, its source is a CNBC story with a correction debunking its core argument!
Not that there aren't any dangers, one should still wear a condom, discuss their sexual history with their partner and get themselves tested before they engage in any unprotected sexual activity.
