This is politics... it's about the appearance of doing something, and of appealing to certain demographics,.. not actually doing something logically and effectively.

I might be mistaken but I do believe the windows in the door thing is already the law in Burnaby as that is the case at Butterfly.
Doesnt bother me though , the risk of voyeurism just turns me on .
The truth is even when political decisions are made w the public’s best interest, we still never find out the whole story ( till 30 yrs later ) because 80% of politics takes place behind closed doors .
So what we hear is only part of the story .
For all we know some politicians husband could have gone to a mp or wife could have caught him is suspicious activity and now he has to do damage control .
Someone could be looking to wash money by using a mp and wants to put the competition out of business by making private donations to a party , decisions that can be dropped later . Someone mentioned developers , that doesn’t sound unrealistic.
My point is despite what we read , and even what all of the people at the bottom level believe, chances are good that, the information given is only part of the story behind an semi unrelated agenda .
So what we hear is only part of the story .

Richmond city councilor Kash Heed ,the excop and politician will present a bill tonight to open a safe injection site but shutdown massage parlors?? It makes no sense!!!

I have literally NEVER seen even one single junkie in Richmond. Not saying they aren’t there , but if I’ve never seen one in 20 yrs , THERE CANT BE MANY !
There must be some financial kickback some how w the injection sites . And yes he probably wants to sell building permits behind closed doors to start putting up high rises and pocketing the pay offs . Gregor set a great example .

I also sincerely wish that councillor Kash gets caught doing something severely nasty, falls afoul of some stupid bylaw and gets his ass handed to him in a very public way,.. ruining his political ambitions and putting him out of our misery.
So I just read that Kash believes these woken are being exploited against their will for profit, much like a pimp situation from the 70’s , and that they are victims of trafficking . This guy is a former cop .

B ; Lying through his teeth and selling propaganda to gullible born again christians and housewives to push some agenda to which he. Is not being transparent about .
