Hey, I might not be Spermie, but......

I wouldn't go with maxwellclothiers. There are only a handful of HK tailors that are passable. It would definetly be more difficult if you order by email than in person, since tailors tend to need you to come in for fittings every few stages of their suit making. And you definetly need to know what you want, and what to specify. A problem with HK tailors is that they won't, on their own, come up with a nip or a line that would flatter your body/make you look good.

People like Jantzen a lot for suits and shirts, but I think that's mostly due to the cheap price. Personally, I prefer Ascot Chang for shirts (http://www.ascotchang.com/tailor-made-shirt/Home). The other HK tailors I would recommend for shirts and suits would be W.W Chan and Gordan Yao.

I have no experience in Thailand, but I've heard a lot of praise for two tailors there. The Bush family (and administration) have gotten a lot of their shirts and suits made at Rajawongse Clothier. I've also heard very good things about Narin Couture. The owner is certified by Zegna, and has connections to Savile Row. These two might be better than the one's in HK...

All the tailors I've mentioned are online. I would definetly read up more on suits before you buy. Here's a good start: http://www.atailoredsuit.com/mens-style-guide-tailored-suit.html .
