SP’s using Whatsapp - legit or scam?

I have never used WhatsApp but i really get the scam-vibes when I see an ad on Leo with sp’s using it.
Anyone else have any luck using it or is it all 100% scam material?

I think maybe it’s a way to have people avoid using text apps perhaps?
WhatsApp from what I understand is a great way to stay discreet and not have a record of calls or texts through your regular plan provider?
Now when the ladies just say “contact me through OF” and have no phone number then it’s a scam for sure!

A lot of sp’s use WhatsApp .. it’s definitely not a strong indicator that it’s a scam…
There are lots of threads here giving more red flags to scam ads that you can search up but I don’t believe if the ad has a WhatsApp number attached to it that it’s a scam solely based on that.
