Scam alert.... Maybe.

Hello everyone,

Though I'm from Vancouver, I'm currently traveling through the prairies, and twice in a row I've tried to set up a date and the girl has asked me to meet her online with at some website where you pay to see her as a cam girl before actually meeting in person.

The story in getting is: "it's $25 over the cam first and I'll do a sexy strip tease for you, after that we'll meet, because I'm sick of being stood up on dates, so this way I know you're for real"

Maybe I'm just a cynical city boy, but this seems like an obvious scam to me; How easy! Put ads all over Canada if you want, get guys to cough up $25 a piece, make a few hundred a night, and all you have to do is send a few texts! I mean, I could do it. Once they send the money, there's no show, but what are you going to do? Call the cops, lol? For $25 when you were trying to hire an escort?

So, yeah, there you have it. Maybe it's not a scam and that's just how they do things out here, or, maybe it is a scam- if anyone is familiar with this method, I would very much appreciate a heads up. Thanks all.

Scam! Very common one too, all they want is your credit info.

You won't get any cam show or date.

If you do get scammed never mind the cops. Contact Visa or MC so they can freeze the vendor's account and put them out of business.

Those kinda girls are on every dating site on the internet, and are like the plague. You really don't want to pick up what they are putting down. Even if you get a cam show, they are not being at all honest with you.
I belong to another site and it seems that all the scammers there, and there are many profiles, have a generic Email they will send you...Join up at this site for a small fee...My profile name is Blah Blah...My cell number is listed there, and I'll do a Cam show for you....We can meet for drinks after we get to know each other.
