I was a little let down by the dress too ! Was expecting spectacular and I almost found hers to be .... well .... nothing special.
I loved the dress, and, I am not a fan of lace sleeves.
Princess Di's dress was too puffy and she looked like she was sinking into it. Kate's dress was supportive and she was in control of her look.
When she stepped out of the car I thought "what? nipples?" The darts cut into the bodice gave that effect, but, I thought, why the hell not?
It was soooooo romantic! Nice to see two people in love!
Prince Harry has grown into a fine young man

You aren't allowed a sleeveless or backless gown if you are marrying in front of the Queen lol If she wasn't marrying the future king, I am sure her choice would have been more risque. I found it elegant, clean lines, simple.
Pippa's dress was gorgeous! Loved it!

LOL I think I give the little pecker head enough grief to cut him a little slack on that one.....and that's being conservative
