I've been in this hobby for a little over a year and a half now, and been around PERB for a little more than that. I've always wondered why guys retire.

Well, I think I got a glimpse of why last nite. I can't begin to explain my thoughts on this. I don't understand them myself.

I have a long drive today, this is the song i will be listening to, LOUD....it's by Maroon 5.

She Will be Loved
-----------------------

Beauty queen of only eighteen
She had some trouble with herself
He was always there to help her
She always belonged to someone else

I drove for miles and miles
And wound up at your door
I've had you so many times but somehow
I want more

I don't mind spending everyday
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
And she will be loved
She will be loved

Tap on my window knock on my door
I want to make you feel beautiful
I know I tend to get so insecure
It doesn't matter anymore

It's not always rainbows and butterflies
It's compromise that moves us along
My heart is full and my door's always open
You can come anytime you want

I don't mind spending everyday
Out on your corner in the pouring rain, oh
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
And she will be loved
She will be loved

And She will be loved
And She will be loved

I know where you hide
Alone in your car
Know all of the things that make you who you are
I know that goodbye means nothing at all
Comes back and begs me to catch her every time she falls

Tap on my window knock on my door
I want to make you feel beautiful

She will be loved (repeated)

At the "Y"
I often think the announcements of "retirement" are pretty dopey. I mean, if I go out and get shitfaced tonight and have a wicked ass hangover tomorrow, I might cringe at the site of booze for a day or two, and may not have a wobbly pop for a while, but I'm not going to announce my "retirement" from drinking.

It's called taking a break people.

I came close to taking a break after a depressing 2 week streak of bad luck that started with my cancelled appointment in Victoria and then continued when I got home with more cancellations, lacklustre SP sessions and unanswered messages. But this week, a couple of fantastic sessions with two fantastic ladies has perked up both myself and wolvie jr.

Do any of us really retire, except from work? I guess if you get bored or end up with uninspiring sessions, you might take some time off and do other things. But pooning is fun if you can hook up with the right SP.
