Re: This isn't very nice...
I found this thread on a board that's called the Land of Odd. It's got a lot of interesting content, but for the most part it's naughty stuff. So if you don't like naughty stuff don't go there. Here's what one neighbour to the South had to say about us....He lives in Texas.

A Great White Waste of Time.
WHENEVER I THINK OF CANADA . . . strike that. I'm an American, therefore I tend not to think of Canada. On the rare occasion when I have considered the country that Fleet Streeters call "The Great White Waste of Time," I've regarded it, as most Americans do, as North America's attic, a mildewy recess that adds little value to the house, but serves as an excellent dead space for stashing Nazi war criminals, drawing-room socialists, and hockey goons.
Canada, by the way, has decided not to enter into a joint missile defense system with the United States, which means that if a missile crosses Canada, we will automatically violate Canadian airspace to shoot it down if it is headed for us, but, by rights, if it is headed for Toronto, restraint is an option. ....[unquote. ]
I'm thinking that Texas Pete should get out of the house more and talk to other Americans or even come up here to Canada and meet his neighbors. Poor Pete. I don't think he really represents the majority of Americans, whoever this guy is. Honestly, I dont think I've ever heard anyone say such nasty things about us.
But I'll tell you something. I was on Holiday once in Cancun and I met a bunch of cute girls from Houston. I'd find any excuse to talk to them just because I LOVED their accents. They really didn't know much about where I was from, and frankly I've never been to Texas, but they were super duper friendly and alot of fun.
So there.
Happy Easter, and pass me the gravey.
later,
bobsled.
