If you ever had a chance to see the Mavericks live in a concert I would be certain it would have been memorable. First saw them years ago in the old Constellation bar in Austin, then I think about 15 years back at the Commodore and again a couple years ago at the QE. Literally dancing in our seats, joyous shows that had me and pretty much everyone else smiling hours after it was over. All thanks to Raul Malo maybe one of the finest voices in any kind of popular music the past century. He will be so sorely missed
