long story short. i've been considering a job change the past couple of months. so i've been doing leg work after work and on weekends. i posted a resume with monster.ca and got an interesting call (for me at least) from what was rederred to as a "headhunting" firm.

the place is called Drake International.

their website is http://www.drakeintl.com/

anyone ever heard of 'em? should i be weary, or is this place on the up an up.

lemme know your experiences ;)

you guys rock:cool:

Big huge headhunter company

If it's the same 'Drake' that I'm thinking of, and not some scuzzy company taking a similar name to trick people, then it's totally legit.

The mother of a gal I dated in the late 60's worked for Drake Personnel which has now morphed into Drake International. They have a very long history and are indeed a legit company.

Drake was mostly involved in low end clerk and secretarial placements. They may have moved up in the skills settings, but look to other personnel placement agencies for professional placements. And when I say "professional", I mean it, not in the sense of how some SPs call themselves "professional" like the way they do in "Reservoir Dogs" type of professional.
