Posting Pics?????

[Ironhead]

I have been trying to post some pics here for a while but keep getting message that they are too big.
1024k is my limit.
How do I go about this?
I have photoshop. Most of them are jpegs taken off the internet.
I noticed that some of the pics posted appear to be fairly big when I see them on a posted thread.
I do know about the attach file option.
Thank you

copy and pasting this

from another thread...

actually sounds like you are trying to upload a file from your hd..what is being done above is called hotlinking..find a pic on the web..right click..select properties..in the pop up, highlight the URL line and copy. in your post above click IMG and in the pop up paste your URL that you copied and click ok..then voila..it should work depending on wether the site will let you hotlink or not..Fred Zed is trying to cut down on or illiminate the other method uploading from your hd...hope that helps..lol..yeah I was getting carried away..so I had to stop and just post the link or I would have been there all night..lots of kewl choices there..lol

ps..you will have to experiment with hotlinking in this section as I have tried and sometimes or most of the time it doesn't seem to take..uploading from your hd is not good as stated above an frowned upon by admin..for whatever the reason..lol

ok this is a test ..

damn see hotlinking is not working over in this secion..not sure why..GEEKS help..or admin somebody..lol..but the link works anway..oh well i tried..
