Hi,
I'm new to Victoria and was wondering how safe it is to use outcalls services of agencies in Victoria with the new legislation. If they get busted, do cops search for clients addresses in their records?

IT IS ILLEGAL to purchase sexual services. Or communicate with the intention of buying sex. This is punishable with up to five years in jail and fines that begin at $500 an increase with subsequent offences. Fines double if it is done anywhere kids may be present.

The government says criminalizing those who “create a demand for prostitution” limits the lure for sex workers. Opponents say criminalizing these exchanges push them underground and therefore make the situation more dangerous for sex workers. The Pivot Legal Society says the provision “violates the security of the person rights of sex workers.”

I see. So with this new legislation, the safest way would be probably to stick to street workers, so that way you keep it anonymous and less chances of being tracked. There are no walk-in brothels/massage parlours in Victoria and Making online appointments would expose your personal information.

Why not try some of the independent escorts?

Because the new legislation gives independent escorts ( the bad ones) more opportunities for blackmail and scam, they are allowed to offer their services but anyone who accept the offer is breaking the law, so a good opportunity to scam and blackmail anyone who responds

Don't think it's in the best interest of independent escorts (the bad ones) to scam / blackmail people. In the long run, that type of behavior catches up to a person.

Best to do your research (here and other sites). Lots of people have experience with the SPs in the area and offer solid advice here.

There are many reliable, independent service providers that I know would make you feel comfortable visiting them.

Victoria area
Use a 7-11 cel phone paid for with cash to book with and I'd feel reasonably confident that the reputable agencies aren't interested in keeping your address after their lady returns safely. They know who pays the rent.

As for the indys, the reputable ones are reliable but there have been scammers on BP Victoria and I'm sure there will be again.

As Victoria city council has made it plain that they do not support bill C-36, Vic PD has said, unofficially, that they have better things to do. (Unless there is coercion, abuse or a minor involved.)

Read the reviews, check out the pictures and have some fun!

I wouldn't worry about it too much if I were you, all they do there is give 'massages'!
There is no crime in that and you can't get arrested for giving/getting a massage?:eyebrows:

This is the typical response of a cop : You will explain that to the judge

Not a cop, but I do know a bit about the law. The Bill is already having it's effect. Business is down everywhere.

!
Yes they said it isn't their priority but if neighbours complain ( if they suspect I'm bringing escorts at home ), the cops are under obligation to intervene. This is the big change with the new legislation , outcalls used to be legal , so neighbours couldn't complain to cops, now that has been changed.

Have you heard about any arrests made in Victoria since the new legislation came into effect?

Does VPD publish all the arrests they make ?
I have to be cautious, probably some neighbours don't want their neighbour ( if they suspect so many girls coming to my place ) to bring escorts and call the cops, in that case VPD cannot say, no this is not our priority

What people do in the privacy of their own home is nobodies business!
You can have all the escorts at home or where ever and do whatever and as long as the
authorities can''t prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the services were obtained were
paid for, there is nothing they can do. If they do set up some kind of sting and solicit someone
into committing a crime, that is entrapment.

You invite a stranger who is known to be a sex worker at home . What for ? The cops have reasonable doubts to make an arrest, it's up to judges and prosecutors to prove anything not the cops job

I have done some research about that topic, prostitution stings are completely legal in North American and aren't considered as entrapment because cops created an opportunity to commit an offense and didn't push you to do it ( you chose to call )
