We in the "Western World" have had it too good for too long. The Era Of The Arabs (should I say middle easterners to avoid "correctness" flack) is upon us. It is easy to trace back the reason why the Oil Cartel is now ready to stick it to us (Westerners in general, that is.)
To get more political, the Crusaders stuck it to the Arabians many centuries back. History is forever. Revenge eaten cold is best tasting. "They" are tasting in spades.
The Yanks in their presumptious assumption "they" should control and set up key OIL alliances for their OWN benefit (now worthless and probably never really valid) really overstepped the mark (in hindsight) with their CIA-inspired INTERFERENCE in every fucking country they saw as potentially valuable to their cause. In most cases (read controlling) individuals/party being PROPPED UP. Countless reasonable current examples. Osama Bin Ladin and Sadam Hassein just two. PLUS their kinda buddy in Pakistan, Mushareff. And of course Palestine re Israel. Why the fuck wouldn't the Cartel put it to the palefaces now THEY have the western bollocks in their hands so as speak.
The world we knew will never exist as it did. ALL countries other than USA and Canada have been paying COMPARATIVELY MASSIVELY EXORBITANT prices for the last 10 years!!! We have had it easy. Took it for granted. (I expect they of "us" who didn't travel overseas might well have been unaware of the disparity in relative gas prices. MOST particularly the masses in the USA due to lack of real concern of what happens outside of their City/State/Country in ascending order. Rome foundered on "political ignorance." The fire still burneth!!
And we have yet to see how Russia factors into this current malaise. Good luck, my own children and the next generation!!
I'm finished, but haven't really started. Back to Captain Morgan Deluxe. Now HE was a simpler pirate in much simpler times.
