I thought I'd start a new thread to guage the state-of-the-union where strip-clubs are concerned. Until recently I was a regular at Saint Pete's. General boredom plus a shakeup in the wait staff prompted me to stop going. Anyway, I've been going to the Crazy Horse North (97th St) for the past few months. While the crowds could be better, it's kind of an interesting place. I go on fridays when all the dancers go on stage over the course of about an hour or more, and it's not bad at all. The venue itself is a bit strange--kind of like a cross between a barn and a medieval castle (works on Halloween, though)--and they have a lot of bouncers, but the service is pretty good and the dancers don't phone in their sets the way some do at Saint Pete's.
