Quick question for those computer gods...

If I have a regular lan router, can i hook up a wireless router through the regular router? so basically I have 2 routers working at the same time?

Just out of curiosity, is the wired router even necessary? I mean if the WAP can act as a router, why add complexity with another router on top of things? Obviously since you said it's working you shouldn't mess with it, but I'm curious as to what advantage there could possibly be to having a second router in the picture....

well...my wireless router was givin my computer some problems. it would take a few clicks or a few refresh clicks in order to load a web page and it annoyed the shit out of me. but the wireless worked fine....it was just the ports on the wireless that was gettin messed up. anyways, it is working great now.

My wired router also has a print server. I use it not only to connect the non-wireless computers but to give the wireless ones access to printers without having to turn on sny other computer (which would be necessary if the printers were just being shared on the network).
