Negative reviews being deleted on Perb

I had another question regarding the post referenced in this thread that was deleted:

I appreciate that the good review for Selina was reposted by the original reviewer. But how come the original review that shed "Mel" (whoever this was referring to) in a bad light was allowed to be removed (irrespective of "drama" or not).

And why would this thread be closed so quickly if for no other reason than Perb doesn`t like its members asking these questions? I would hope that Perb realizes that the integrity of this board gets diminished every time it attempts to shut its members down in order to protect its advertisers.

Are you NEW? this happens all the time. There are many times that reviews are pulled.

First off begin to realize something. pretty hard to focus on but YOU PAY NOTHING TO BE HERE. The ladies on here being reviewed by you and I are PAID ADVERTISERS

Some ladies have a NO review policy. Some times things that are discussed are very detrimental to the ladies business. Or perhaps contained some information that was personal that impacted the SP?

Perhaps the original poster requested the mods to remove the thread due to the negativity that his thread brought. Or the OP never saw the lady in question thus making the review invalid and only a reverse Shill. Maybe the OP was Banned thus ending his review. Maybe the contents of the add contained such drama that couldn't be PRUNED!

Secondly calling out the Mods or Fred Zed the administrator on this site for decisions they've made. Openly questioning them in a public thread. Guess you don't want to be here long.

:clap2: Exactly what I was thinking and could not have said it better myself. Thank you. Also one thing to keep in mind, for a lot of ladies especially single ones who have children, this is their livelihood and main source of income, this isn't a game and shouldn't be treated as such.

Any girl can ask to be on the do not review list on PERB, we as guys need to then put that girl on our collective Do Not See list.

I have reviewed a ton of paid advertisers, most are great girls as they know the deal, however some have been horrible and my reviews have reflected that. Never has one of my reviews been removed.

I have posted several negative reviews, even of paid advertisers. Never had one deleted. Because I write them properly. I am fair, honest and still respectful, even when the service was lousy. Being a dick, calling names, insulting, degrading or violating the rules around here is one way to get them deleted. To be fair, there are some paid advertisers who have had bad reviews deleted as well.

That's real nice. I had a review deleted that contained none of the distasteful elements you mention. In fact, it was positive about the experiences I had enjoyed with that SP.

The apparent problem was that I told other readers that she had quite unexpectedly and without explanation refused to see me any further. It seems she didn't like this being discussed, so she pulled a couple of strings and had the post deleted. Weird.

The mods locked that thread down for a reason ... why you are continuing on the drama to another post is beyond me. The post was deleted because the way the thread was posted was in EXTREMELY POOR TASTE. Based on the review I will NEVER see that reviewer, he talked down on the sp, he started drama and he was very very very rude and hurtful. Calling names is not allowed on perb, the post wasn`t about me, at first I thought it was but I got an email from the poster that it had nothing to do with me.

When reviewers or posters maliciously attack others they get infractions like this gentleman did and or banned. That is the reason the review was taken down as it was malicious.

As for myself I have no problem owning up to my mistakes and if I get a bad review I own it.

If a review is posted in a malicious manner I don`t think it should be allowed to stay on the board. There are ways to put things without being malicious, vendicative or posting with a vendetta like this gentleman clearly was doing.

Anyways I am sure you will get a time out for continuing on this nonsens drama for absolutely no purpose then stirring the pot.

Well Mel, because some of us never saw the original review we can`t know if this post was done "in extremely poor taste" or posted in a "malicious" manner. I guess we`ll have to take your word for it.

I`m asking a question. I wasn`t rude about it. I wasn`t calling anyone out. I just asked a question.

I`ve never understood why mods can`t just delete some posts within the thread rather than deleting the entire thread. If there is "drama" then just delete the drama. When reviews get deleted I trust this board less and less.

But this board becomes useless if pooners can`t trust it at all - irrespective of whether we are the individuals who pay money directly to perb or not. Something everyone needs to remember is that, even though we aren`t paying the bills, we ARE the source of the revenue that drives this industry. If pooners can`t trust the reviews on this board, then they aren`t going to trust the paid advertisers who are hoping to attract our hard earned dollars at the end of the day. If there is a lack of trust which ultimately negatively affects how pooners spend their money in relation to SP advertisers, then that doesn`t help anyone here.

And Badger John, I`ve been a member on this board for over 10 years. I know exactly how it works here. That doesn`t mean I won`t voice my displeasure when something goes awry.
