What would you guys (or gals) do in this case? I approached a company about buying their product. My choice was between the expensive and the not-so expensive. The salesman pressed me to make an instant decision, saying the price would be higher if I didn't decide right away. I never make decisions this way, so he agreed to give me a few more days. Still not acceptable, but better. In the meantime he called daily for two days asking if I'd decided. I used each call to ask more questions that I'd come up with over the days. He had suggested a way I might save a bit more money and on the supposed last day of the offer I called him to get the final price if I took the opportunity he had suggested to save. I was shocked when he said he was tired of talking and didn't have time to go through every detail just to save me some money. I was stunned, to say the least. We're not talking chump change here - it's a $20,000 product and I wanted the expensive one. To top it off - on the supposed final day of discount - I spotted their ad with the same offer available for another month. Now I've had time to do some comparison shopping and it seems the product really is the one I like the best and is the best quality, but I really don't want to deal with such an ass hole. What do I do? What would you do?
