Health Nurse said:but other types made from animal membranes (i.e. lambskin) are not recommended for HIV protection.
The above quote got me thinking about all the different prophylactics I've tried over the years.
I've bought lambskin condoms once and only once. Like most new purchases I'm always a little eager to get it out of the box and give it a whirl and the natural condoms were no exception. Bought a box (without knowing that they weren't effective in preventing HIV) and when I got home I wanted to see how the looked and felt. Threw in a tape and started to watch porn to make wood so I could continue with my science experiment. Once at full staff I opened one and sweet jesus did it stink
I can accept that prior to latex condoms hitting the scene lambskin was about the only choice but it escapes me why they're still being sold. Even if you're allergic to latex there are other synthetic choices these days.
Needless to say the rest of the box was promptly pitched in the trash.
